Beschrijving

In 1987 Milton Kam left his native Suriname for New York City, where he studied filmmaking. He has traveled extensively for his work as a cinematographer of films, television and documentaries. His visit to Suriname after an absence of more than 20 years re-ignited his love for the country and set him on a path to photograph Suriname’s indigenous peoples’ current way of living. Points of Recognition is his first publication.
